Are you being pressured by your employer to vaccinate
No jab no job!
What can a vaccine-prudent person in Singapore do in the face of changing employment rules that threaten their livelihoods and careers?
An external group of local volunteers passionate about assisting our fellow Singaporeans in navigating through this difficult career climate have put together resources helpful for those in need. Some of these resources include:
- knowing how to respond to your employer appropriately
- understanding your rights as an employee
- providing emotional support for those who are feeling overwhelmed
- You may reach out to them via the following Google form link.

If your job is on the line, just because you refused to vaccinate, then please check out the resources in this page. Know your rights as an employee and what constitutes wrongful dismissal. Learn how to respond appropriately to your employers if you wish to keep your job.
In many cases, employers do not have a good understanding of Covid disease transmission and risks. Or they may be unfamiliar with employment laws. So they react out of ignorance and anxiety to comply with the latest regulations, for the safety of the company. Try to adopt a respectful but firm approach towards your employer. Educate them.
ANTIGEN RAPID TEST ( SWAB TEST)
The twice weekly covid tests for employees to take before reporting to office, refers to the Antigen Rapid Test (ART) which is easier and cheaper to administer by the employee. To do the ART, it is not necessary to go to a GP. You can purchase the DIY ART kits, over the counter, at many stores in shopping centres. The ART test can be witnessed by a colleague or supervisor ( to ensure that it is done properly) at the workplace, or at home via Zoom before .
Do not report to the office if you are not feeling well (e.g. sore throat, cough, runny nose, fever, etc).
How to use the ART kit
Watch this step-by-step video on how to use the ART. The test takes less than 20 minutes and is safe and easy to do. https://www.mom.gov.sg/covid-19/educational-resources-on-art
